More than 30 local residents have been interviewed and their memories recorded over the course of the project, which ran from March 2019 to March 2020. Brent Museums and Archives now cares for this invaluable collection of memories, so called ‘oral history’.
Sudbury was a lovely place to live, and everything that we needed in essential life, religious life, and friendship life, seemed to go on in the area. We made our own circle of friends, but I cannot express too much how the church and the tennis club were really our whole lives.
